Is this another conspiracy?¹ My, who knows, but at least I have had enough of conspiracies of any kind for today! ;-) Anyway, I selected the above image because it shows a somewhat unusual terrain on Mars. The initial NASA image is in b/w, too. All I did was, to scale it down somewhat and to apply an advanced Unsharp Mask... technique to the image. BTW, there are larger versions available on the Mars Exploration Rover site.

¹ There are a number of people who think that NASA faked the colors in part of the color images taken on the Martian surface, which they in fact did - but those images are clearly marked as "false-color images" on the NASA mission sites. Apparently, the ones with the reddish colors are the genuine ones, whereas the ones which appear "natural" to us are the false-color images.
