As I found out just now, CinePaint "Glasgow" is already available for download via anonymous CVS, but keep in mind that this is still pre-beta. And: A link to the "Glasgow" documentation.
Note: Unlike the old "Film Gimp" (0.21) version, "Glasgow" requires FLTK instead of GTK 1.2.x.
